Additional Information for Coaches and Team
Coordinators:
|
|
 | the meet has now been seeded and the only
changes now will be scratches. Scratch deadlines will be strictly
adhered to in order that the meet run on time |
 | Parents and Swimmers will have two entry
points to the building - they should go first to the gym and find their
section |
 | Marshalling will take place in separate
rooms, one for each pool. Swimmers will be brought from the marshalling
areas to their pool, and after their swim, returned to the gym by the
marshallers |
 | Additional Services for siblings of
swimmers: Daycare facilities will be available during the swimming
sessions. Children 6 & under can be placed in daycare for $5.00 per
session. Daycare session times are 8:30 am to Noon and 1:30 pm to 5:30 pm.
There is a limit of 55 children per session. |
 | Siblings 7 and over have the opportunity
to relax and watch videos in the YMCA's teen center located on the lower
floor of the YMCA at no charge |
|
|
Marshalling information:
Teams are asked to identify their swimmers by
age and by event number by marking this information on the swimmers left or
right shoulder as per the below diagram.
This will assist the marshallers in placing the swimmers in the correct
events. Markers will be available in the gym and the marshalling areas
on the day of the meet.
